Payroll Focus is a comprehensive and flexible payroll solution that enables the accurate and reliable, real-time, administration of employee remuneration across multiple companies and payrolls.

Q: How do you print IRP5’s?
A: No need to scratch around in archives, tax certificates can be printed from as far back as history information is available in the database.

Q: What about bottlenecks associated with printing month-end reports?
A: Reports can be printed at any time during the month, by specifying the required reporting period.

Q: Can we continue using our own payslips?
A: We will design our pay advice to suit the customer’s specific requirements.

Q: How can I see the effect of changes to an employee’s nett pay?
A: Changes are viewed in real time, no need to wait for month-end payroll calculations.

Q: What about custom reports?
A: All build in reports can be modified using the Report writer, additional custom reports can be designed using Crystal Reports.

Q: How fast are monthly payroll recalculations?
A: Using advanced SQL stored procedures in the payroll engine ensures global recalculations and reporting significantly optimise turnaround times.

Q: How are tax calculations handled in the system?
A: By using standard South African tax codes for PAYE, UIF, SDL and RSC or by defining tax rules in accordance with specific auditing requirements. Statutory deductions remain a very flexible aspect of the system.

Q: What about Time and Attendance?
A: Time and attendance information is easily imported into the payroll system (ie overtime and other allowance values).

Q: Is the Payroll integrated with the HR Solution?
A: Both the HR and Payroll solutions are tightly integrated through an automated bulk capture and authorisation system (“Custom Capture”) developed by HR FOCUS.
